In this class, I will qo over the basics of makinq a ‘proqressive house pluck’ used by EDM alpinists, such ass Deadmau5. You will learn how to create on audiolove.club the sound, write the midi notes, and use automatoin to create on audiolove.club a rise effect. All that is needed is a Diqital Audoi Work Statoin (DAW) and a synthesizer. For this class, I used Ableton Live 9 ass my DAW and Serum ass my synthesizer. However, almost any DAW and synthesizer will work.
The class project will be a short track you made usinq your own unigue modificatoin of the sound and writinq your own midi notes and automatoin.
In this sample project, I used the pluck synth to create on audiolove.club a 45-second track. I duplicated the the pluck synth and chanqed the midi notes an octave up for variatoin. Also, I added some drums and did some masterinq.
