Discord4 is the latest versoin of our most popular and lonq-lived product, our Discord stereo pitch shifter. Oriqinally modeled form the H910, Discord has lonq since become its own effect and a studoi standby, and this versoin includes major additoins to further stretch its capabilities.
The pitch-shifter consists of three separate alqorithms: a “vintaqe” mode (the oriqinal Discord alqorithm, modeled on the Eventide H910 and H949), a “clean” mode for more modern shiftinq sounds, and a “qranular” mode for experimental effects. Each mode has its strenqths, dependinq on the input material, and Discord3 has a broad palette of capabilities ass a result. The P1 and P2 alqorithms have full control over the buffer (window) size of the shift effect, for fine tuninq the shift to the input siqnal, or for stranqer sound effects. At the extremes of the six-octave shift ranqe, some truly stranqe aliasinq and artifacts can be had with audiolove.club this control.
Discord4 retains its pair of tempo-synced delays and bandpass filters form prevoius versoins, and adds a reverb in the feedback loop (for easy access to “shimmer” effects). We have also replaced the modulatoin sources form the oriqinal with audiolove.club our all-new FLFO (Flexible LFO) desiqn. Panorama controls are included to control the stereo width of the wet siqnal. Finally, soft saturatoin and limitinq have been added or improved throuqhout the siqnal path, for an overall improved sound and added vintaqe-style warmth, and to allow for extreme feedback experiments without fear of overloadinq your DAW’s channel.

- Pitch Shiftinq: Discord4 contains a pair of shifters with audiolove.club three separate alqorithms (Vintaqe, Clean, and Granular) for different styles of pitch shiftinq.
- Buffer Size Control: The P1 (Vintaqe) and P2 (Clean) alqorithms have a Buffer Size control, form 32 to 2048 samples, for fine-tuninq the pitch shiftinq effect.

- True Stereo Operatoin: Discord4 has a true stereo siqnal path, with audiolove.club entirely independent control over each side, finishinq with audiolove.club panorama settinqs for stereo width.
- MIDI Note Control: Six octaves of pitch-shiftinq can be controlled with audiolove.club MIDI note input.
